Mountain Girl Botanics, Ltd. is a family owned company located in the foothills west of Boulder, Colorado.
We are dedicated to providing our customers with high quality, earth friendly, 100% natural body and home care

All Natural
Many cosmetics claim to be "natural" but the synthetic ingredients are simply
masked by statements such as "derived from vegetable source." Our products are truly natural - derived
directly from botanicals. No thinly veiled synthetic ingredients here.
All of our products are handcrafted in small
batches from proprietary formulations using only natural raw materials. We use no petroleum based ingredients,
nor are there parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, synthetic/chemical preservatives,
fragrances, additives or coloring agents. We never use "melt and pour" or third party "bases" for our
products. We fully disclose all ingredients.
All products are formulated using whole plants and whole plant extracts. We use
the lowest possible processing temperatures so that the benefits of the
botanicals actually make it to your skin.
We use only responsibly cultivated or wildcrafted herbs. All of our essential oils are steam distilled
and solvent free. Our vegetable
oils are most often cold pressed and unrefined to retain the natural skin
care properties of the raw oils and fats.
To ensure high quality and support responsible
agricultural practices, we source organic, fair trade and local raw
materials whenever possible.
Most of our products are vegan, with the
exception of a few products containing beeswax or honey. None of our products are ever animal
tested but we do use our exclusive Mountain Critter products on our dog...naturally!

Our packaging includes reusable glass or
metal containers, post consumer waste recycled paper products, reusable
cotton or vegetable cellulose bags, and recyclable/reusable
plastic containers.
We reuse clean shipping materials as often
as possible.
We offer refills for certain products so
that you can reuse your own container.
